This is a call to all who enjoy the collecting of STAMPS
( You know. Those little sticky papers found on the top
corners of envelopes).Ever wondered what your stamp
collection might be worth or if there was a history behind
the figure on it. Well this is what this site is all about. I am
attempting to create a WWW Stamp Collection. This can
only be accomplished if YOU help me.
I want your stamps !!!
The whole idea behind this project is to promote stamp
collecting. I will post my stamp collection on this site for
all to see. I want YOU to submit information about your
collection to me. I will then have an owners page connected
to each stamp. Your name will appear next to the stamp
as well as all the other owners of that same stamp. In this way
we will create the greatest stamp collection ever seen.
How ?
You might ask me what type of information I desire from you.
Well, I will need the following:
Your name
Your E-Mail address
Your home address ( country, state/province and town/city)
A gif/jpg of the stamp ( or a short description)
Origin of the stamp
History of art depicted on the stamp
Face value of the stamp. ( and currency )
Condition of the stamp ( mint or used )
Current re-sell value
Your contribution does not have to include all of the above.
For now I will start to add my own collection and in time yours
